What is Tranart? Tranart is the name that stands for the partnership of Sibylle Groene and Deeter Hastenteufel the two founding members of a movement that, according to some observers, promises to be as important for this century as "Die Bruecke" and "Der Blaue Reiter" were for the last. Tranart's mandate is to create works that by their theme or through their process connect to the natural, ecological and social environment. The members organize and curate solo- exhibitions for each other and have group shows between Europe and North America.
