The work of Bernadette Schroeger, the third member of Tranart, complements the creative approach of Groene and Hastenteufel in the most beautiful and imaginative way. Bernadette's process not only necessitates an element of time and social involvement, as she collects the used coffee filters from her neighbours, she also uses industrial package material to create her three dimensional installations, objects and relief collages. Using the rusty brown of the coffee filter to cover the machine-created shapes (as in the "Crossroad" series) is, at least in colour, reminiscent of Sibylle Groene's work and in recycling discarded cardboard is, in its basic idea, similar yet very different from the classical arrangements of Hastenteufel's work.
